I was digging though some old boxes of stuff, and I stumbled across a whole bunch of One Drum set lists. Many of them were scrawled on whatever was available at that moment, and there were several noteworthy napkins in the collection. I went ahead and scanned everything in, and posted them to the gallery.

There is something almost tender about these scraps of paper. Viewing them reveals a side of One Drum that is oft overlooked – a fleeting, nameless aspect of the band that isn’t conveyed though the music.

Rockford’s Celebration of International Peace Day

One Drum will be working with area schools in conjunction with the International Day of Peace. Many of these schools, including Montessori Private Academy, will be performing during the day.

Greg Mortenson of “Three Cups of Tea” will be the guest speaker at the International Day of Peace September 19, 2008!!! “Three Cups of Tea” has been selected to be the “One Book, One Rockford” by the Rockford Public Library for 2008.

The Keeling-Puri Peace Plaza is located between Perryville and McFarland Roads, just west of the I-90 Interchange at Riverside Boulevard in northeast Rockford (IL). The parking lot is south of Riverside Boulevard on McFarland Road.
