- 6:00 am – rise early to play at New Jersey schools. On our way to the schools, David discovers we are lost and stops the van promptly in the middle of an intersection. This is but the first of many traffic rule “interpretations” that follow. Shortly after, we pass by a newly erected casino nearing completion. The sign reads “Borg,” reminding us of they cyborg species from Star Trek.

- 8:30 am – perform at Brigantine school (pictures coming soon…) During our performance of Zimbo, we call the principal up to dance. It was fun, and the kids go wild! Returning from the school, we discover that “Borg” is actually “Borgata” in a state of incompletion.

- 11:00 am – perform at Margate school. Again, we call the principal up to dance with us to Zimbo. The crowd goes nuts!

- 1:30 pm – perform at Chesterbrook academy (pictures coming soon…)

- 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm – we run errands, including buying some flowers for Bob and some food with which we shall prepare dinner for our host family. More traffic rule “interpretations” follow suit.

- 8:00 pm – Dinner is served. Our hosts have a couple of guests over – Wendy, a music teacher trained in opera, and Emma’s classmate.
